Arrive to Piraeus

by Air Athens International airport "El. VENIZELOS"  proposes on its site the list of all the companies and all destinations (direct flights). Very convenient to establish your flight plan! From the Airport, you have to take the bus X96, (cost of ticket: 3,20 €) directly to Piraeus (departure each 20 minutes ; duration around 45 minutes). You could also have a documentation regarding all the possibilities offered by Low Cost Companies, please consult one of these two website: LowCost and Fly Low Cost. To get the better rate on the traditionnal companies, you could also use IllicoTravel by Boat Remember that Piraeus is the main harbour in Greece, you can consult the excellent website Greek Travel Pages., on witch you can find all the schedules.

Around Piraeus

To go to Athens The center of the town is at only 35 minutes by metro, but you could also take the new tramway witch permit to border the see during some kilometers. Remember that you are at less than half an hour from the first Island: AEgina (you have some possibilities for accomodation on the spot !!)
